Nan Smith founded Smith Capital in 2001 and has been active in the entrepreneurial industry for over 25 years. Prior to Smith Capital, Nan founded and co-founded multiple healthcare technology and medical device companies. Nan has been on multiple boards of privately held companies and has been an active investor with Smith Capital partners.

Jan Jones – Financial Consultant

Janice L. Jones has joined Smith Capital as a financial consultant. Prior to joining Smith Capital, Mrs. Jones worked for Synovus Financial Corp in the marketing department. Mrs. Jones received her B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University where she majored in Marketing and minored in Economics. She earned her M.B.A. from Auburn University with an emphasis on finance.

Our Team

In addition to our core members, we have a group of talented entrepreneurs, investors and consultants who assist us on specific projects. Often, they will act as interim management or specialized consultants on an as need basis. They offer a hands on approach which is often the critical component to developing businesses.
